Kestrel Meters by Function: Altitude
By referencing the ICAO Standard Atmosphere model, Kestrel meters use the measured pressure to calculate altitude. In order to calculate the altitude you must enter the current local barometric pressure into the reference pressure screen. For accurate altimeter readings, the reference pressure MUST be updated regularly.
